Website Design & Development

Website Questions

Pricing, timelines, and everything you need to know before starting your website project.

Pricing depends on the scope of your project. A straightforward informational website starts at a few hundred dollars; a custom multi-page site with e-commerce or advanced functionality is priced accordingly. Every project is quoted individually — reach out for a free consultation with no obligation.

Most websites take 4–8 weeks from kickoff to launch. Timeline depends on project complexity, how quickly you provide content and feedback, and the number of revision rounds. We share a clear project schedule at the start of every engagement.

Responsive design means your website automatically adapts its layout to look great on any screen — desktop, tablet, or phone. Every site JeremyWebb.DEV builds is responsive by default. With over 60% of web traffic now on mobile devices, a non-responsive site loses customers before they read your first sentence.

WordPress powers over 40% of all websites on the internet — including major publications like The New Yorker and CNN — because it is flexible, scalable, SEO-friendly, and easy for clients to manage. Combined with Elementor, it gives us near-unlimited design options while keeping your site straightforward to update yourself.

Yes. Every JeremyWebb.DEV site is built on WordPress with an intuitive visual editor, so you can update text, swap images, publish blog posts, and more without touching code. We also offer monthly maintenance plans if you'd rather leave updates to us.

Yes. We build WooCommerce-powered stores on WordPress, handling product setup, payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, and more), and inventory management. WooCommerce itself is free; you only pay standard payment processing fees — 2.9% + $0.30 per U.S. transaction through WooCommerce Payments.

SEO & Online Visibility

SEO Questions

How search rankings work, how long SEO takes, and what we do to help your business get found.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of improving your website so it ranks higher in Google when potential customers search for what you offer. It covers on-page content, technical site health, local citations, and link building. Done well, it brings in consistent, free traffic without paying for every click.

Local SEO focuses on ranking your business for searches tied to a specific location — like "web designer Bullhead City" or "website design near me." It includes optimizing your Google Business Profile, building local citations, and targeting location-specific keywords so nearby customers find you before your competitors.

Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) is the free listing that appears in Google Maps and the local pack — the three-business box at the top of local search results. A fully optimized profile with accurate hours, services, photos, and reviews can drive more phone calls and website visits than paid ads, and it costs nothing to maintain.

SEO is a long-term investment. Most sites see meaningful movement in 3–6 months, with stronger results compounding over 6–12 months of consistent effort. Less competitive local markets move faster; highly contested niches take longer. We provide monthly reporting so you can track progress throughout.

Technical SEO addresses the behind-the-scenes factors that affect how search engines crawl and index your site — page speed, mobile-friendliness, sitemap configuration, structured data (schema markup), canonical tags, Core Web Vitals, and broken link cleanup. A technically sound site makes every other SEO effort more effective.

Google Search Console (free) shows which queries your site appears for, how often users see it, and how many click through. We set up Search Console for every client and include ranking data in monthly reports so you always know exactly how your site is performing.

Hosting, Maintenance & Security

Hosting Questions

What keeps your site online, fast, and secure — and what happens when things need updating.

Web hosting is the server space where your website's files, images, and data are stored and served to visitors. The quality of your hosting directly affects page load speed, uptime, and security — all of which impact both user experience and SEO rankings. Our managed WordPress hosting includes daily backups and uptime monitoring.

Shared hosting places your site on a server alongside other sites — cost-effective for small, low-traffic sites. Dedicated hosting gives your site its own server resources, making it the right choice for high-traffic sites, large ecommerce stores, or sites with heavy media. We'll recommend the right option during your consultation at no extra charge.

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encrypts data between your visitor's browser and your server — this is what creates the padlock icon and "HTTPS" in your URL. Google treats SSL as a ranking signal, and Chrome flags non-SSL sites as "Not Secure," which kills visitor trust immediately. Every JeremyWebb.DEV site includes SSL at no extra charge.

Our maintenance plans cover WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates; daily automated backups; uptime monitoring; security scanning; minor content changes; and monthly performance reports. Keeping your site updated protects against vulnerabilities and keeps it loading fast. An unmaintained WordPress site is one of the most common causes of hacked and defaced websites.

Your domain is your website's address on the internet (ours is JeremyWebb.DEV). Domains are registered in annual increments and must be renewed before expiry to keep your site online. Our packages include first-year domain registration, and we are happy to transfer the domain to your own account for direct management at any time.

Working With JeremyWebb.DEV

Process & Services

What to expect when working with us, from first contact through launch day.

JeremyWebb.DEV is based in the Mohave Valley and serves businesses throughout the Tri-State area — including Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, Laughlin, Lake Havasu City, Kingman, and Needles. We also work with remote clients anywhere in the U.S. through video calls and shared online tools. See all service areas.

A wireframe is a blueprint for your website — it maps out every page's layout, what content goes where, and how users navigate, before any visual design work begins. We create wireframes for every project to get your approval on structure first. Agreeing on the blueprint before designing prevents costly changes later.

No problem. JeremyWebb.DEV offers copywriting as an add-on service. We write SEO-optimized copy for all your pages based on a short interview and your existing materials. Pricing varies by project scope — just let us know during your initial consultation.

Yes. Our content writing service covers website copy, blog articles, service pages, and location pages — all written with local SEO in mind. Consistent, well-written content is one of the most effective long-term SEO strategies for small businesses, and it compounds in value over time.

You will receive a confirmation email with an invoice and a link to book a strategy call. On the call we discuss your goals, collect your brand assets (logo, photos, color palette), and agree on a timeline. From there we draft a wireframe for your approval before any design work begins.

WooCommerce is a free, open-source ecommerce plugin for WordPress with over 5 million active installs. It supports unlimited products, multiple payment gateways, order management, and inventory tracking — making it one of the most capable and cost-effective ways to sell online without a large platform fee.

Start promoting it immediately: add the URL to your Google Business Profile, social media bios, email signature, business cards, and print materials. Let your existing customers know. The more real traffic your new site receives, the faster Google indexes it and starts factoring it into rankings. A new site with no visitors ranks nowhere.
